All services have resumed at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital after nearly four months of pandemic-related closures, as phase three of reopening plan kicks into gear.

With Covid-19 cases on the Island holding firm, leaders at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital announced their own first steps for reopening the facility at a press briefing Wednesday, saying pediatric visits would be available next week and other elective procedures available as soon as June 1.
In a conference call with reporters Wednesday, hospital CEO Denise Schepici and chief medical officer Dr. Pieter Pil said clinical procedures, services for priority preventive care, pediatric care, diagnostic and treatment for high-risk patients are being offered again.
