Martha’s Vineyard Hospital Opens Internal Medicine Suite to Patients

Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of the MVH Rural Health Clinic Internal Medicine Suite. Patients will be welcomed to the new space to receive care as of Monday, March 2^nd.

Access to the Internal Medicine Suite is from the outside of the main building, there is no interior access. The Suite entrance is located on the left-hand side of the walkway nearest parking lot E of MVH. Parking lot E is on the backside of the hospital when using the Eastville Avenue entrance (near the helipad). If you are unable to park in lot E, there will be signage at every hospital entrance and volunteers available to help guide the public to the new patient care space. Campus maps will be available throughout the facility.

If you are a patient of the care providers listed above, you will receive a letter in the mail with more details. Additionally, patients will receive reminders of the new location when they are called by our staff to confirm their upcoming appointments.

Primary care is really the entry point to key specialty services including cardiology and mental health, which will make it one of the most utilized spaces in the hospital. We’re very happy to be able to invite our patients into the new space starting Monday. I’d like to thank our medical and administrative teams, as well as the MVH IT and facilities teams who have been hard at work to make sure we are open for business.
